Hello Wazi Otters,

There are lots of new plans for Wazi and we're looking forward to another great summer! Here are a few that, barring any unforeseen obstacles, we are planning to have:

We're getting up a bit later. The early bird may get the worm, but otters are sleeping in. Check the daily schedule on the web site.

There will be no global warming in McWain Pond. We're getting an ICEBERG! It's a 14 foot inflatable giant that you can climb on, slide down, and jump from.

We’re considering MOUNTAIN BOARDING at Wazi this summer. It's basically a big skateboard with tires on which campers can skate down hills.

SKATEBOARD PARK. Everyone loves a rail, a funbox, or a quarterpipe. And if you didn't love it, you soon will. Wazi's skate park is on the way.

Bunk Notes: Parents can send “Bunk Notes” emails to campers, which are printed and given to campers. Each bunk note comes with a reply area that campers can write on, and the reply is then scanned and emailed back to the parents. Very cool. Also, there will be pictures up every day for parents to view, and there is a service that can have them printed and mailed to them.
 
Otter Chat: We’ve almost got otter chat back. It’s expected any day now, so we want to hear from EVERYONE! Don’t be shy! Alumni and campers and parents can all show some camp spirit and say hello!
 
New Chef: We’ve got an amazing new chef this year who is an instructor at the Johnson and Wales culinary school. That means awesome food! But don’t worry, JIM THE BAKER IS BACK!
